All year we have discussed ways that the Old Testament is fulfilled and brought to perfection in the New Testament; this is called TYPOLOGY. As we studied events of the Old Testament we not only looked at them in the context of the Old Testament, but in the broader view of Salvation History and in our Church today. Through the use of this "LaCool Wiki", we will further develop our knowledge of typology. Below you will see the painting, The Allegory of the Old and New Testament, by Hans Holbien, this painting portrays several of the typological events we have studied so far. The left side of the painting portrays events of the Old Testament and the right side of the painting shows events of the New Testament.
